Part of the pleasures I receive in owning my own mortgage business is the joy I get from helping people. I enjoy helping them to own their first home. I enjoy helping them pull money out of their home for a new business venture, especially after “their bank” said “No.” I enjoy showing people how they can utilize their mortgage to accumulate more wealth over their lifetime. And I enjoy helping seniors find the cash flow that allows them to enjoy a better quality of life.
However, it doesn’t end there. For decades I’ve been helping people in all sorts of ways. Looking for a new Financial Advisor or CPA? Chances are I have a perfect match for you. Perhaps you’re looking for an excellent Realtor to sell your home? I know which Realtors have integrity and which are the sharks to avoid. Those are easy introductions I make on a regular basis.
But what really enriches my soul are the more unique ways I add value to my relationships. The business owner stuck in a quagmire with the zoning board by introducing him to the right politician who can help him resolve the issue. Helping my client find a new job after they’ve been laid off. Helping a client obtain tickets to the Ranger game on his son’s birthday. Consoling my client tragically widowed, to obtain death benefits and move on with her young family’s life. And helping new parents who’ve been devastated by their child’s medical diagnosis.
Forgive me for having this ‘Jerry Maguire’ moment and for getting a bit sappy. But I measure my success in the relationships I’ve developed, the great mentors I’ve had, the clients I’ve served for decades, and the professionals and referral partners I’ve served and become friends with.
All this is possible because years ago I was taught – and recently reminded – that the True Secret to Success in business is this:
It’s NOT about me. It’s about you.
So I ask all of you, with sincerity and humility, how may I help you? What’s keeping you up at night? What issues are you experiencing that I might possibly help with? Please reach out to me and allow me the honor of helping and serving you.
